How can we help you?
TODO’s NGX Break-Away coupling is designed to eliminate spillages and damage to equipment when operators fail to disengage after loading or unloading. When subject to excessive forces the NGX’s break pins shear, causing the pistons spring forward to shut each side of the connection. This not only keeps operators safe but also minimises product losses and costly downtime.
The NGX BreakAway coupling is quick to close, saves on product losses and is suitable for a wide range of different applications.
Units are equipped with 3mm pins as standard. This typically offers the best stress resistance. However, as with any TODO product, changes can be made to ensure the best match for an intended application. As the table below shows, the NGX BreakAway coupling can be made with aluminium or high-grade stainless steel and fitted with an almost endless choice of O-ring grades.
The NGX BreakAway coupling improves safety and minimises losses when handling expensive or hazardous product. It has a working temperature range of -20°C to +80°C (-4°F to +176°F). Working pressure varies according to the chosen.
TODO is committed to providing the highest quality products and construction materials are selected for the best possible performance. Aluminium units use EN AW 6262 T6 and stainless steel is made with 316L grade.

Designed to be installed on the same line as a TODO-MATIC hose unit, the NGX Break-Away can handle the same demanding applications found on both land and offshore. The NGX is commonly used in the chemical and LPG sectors, though can be used to improve safety wherever hazardous or valuable products are being transferred.
APPLICATIONS SERVED
TODO is recognised as the leading provider of couplings and accessories across many different sectors. Customers will often request a ‘TODO’ when transferring liquids and gases. Below is a list of the industries that most commonly use TODO products. Click through to read more about how our range is applied in these sectors.
LEADING AFTERMARKET SOLUTIONS
TODO products are proven in the field and have shown they can be relied on repeatedly. However, TODO recognises the taxing nature of dry-break coupling applications their tough operating environments and acknowledges that even the best solutions need regular maintenance to ensure correct function. That is why we offer service kits and OEM spares for in-field servicing, supported by the industry’s most experienced aftermarket professionals.
