TODO products are designed for the safe transfer of petroleum gas in both liquid and vapour phases. Best known is the TODO-GAS Dry-Break coupling, a pioneering product that builds on the strengths of the TODO-MATIC but with key modifications for LPG use.
This product is sold in 1-3” sizes. TODO-GAS 1” and 2” are designed to be non-compatible with TODO-MATIC products – this ensures there is no risk of cross-contamination between LPG and other liquids or gases at the same site.
The 1” is made from stainless steel and brass, while the 2” uses duplex stainless steel for exceptional durability under harsh transfer conditions. The 3” TODO-GAS unit is used for vapour recovery, often in tandem during loading and/or unloading. All three couplings use a push-on and twist mechanism and provide almost no spillage on disconnection.
Safety is TODO’s top priority for LPG applications. The NGX Break-Away unit is designed to prevent accidents when a driver has forgotten to disengage their vehicle from a loading/ unloading station. When subject to excessive force, the NGX’s pins shear causing the pistons to spring forward and shut each side of the connection. The Break-Away will also separate at this point, minimising damage and preventing fuel spillages. Units are equipped with 3mm pins as standard, which offer the best stress resistance, though like all TODO products modifications can be made to suit specific requirements.
The NGX Break-Away also reduces downtime. Market-leading pressure drop means deliveries can be completed quickly without spillages, while reset kits allow for a quick return to normal working order without leaving site. In the event of a break, users simply screw the NGX’s two halves back together with the bolts and O-rings provided.
Pressure Tight Caps are also offered in TODO’s LPG range. Available in 2-4” sizes, these units are installed with a red O-ring to visually indicate line failure. With up to 25 bar maximum working pressure, they can also be used as an official third point of closure when other safety systems are not in place.
